Mrs. Rana Adawi

Mrs. Rana Adawi, who comes with prime expertise in asset management and over 24 years’ experience in the financial services industry in Egypt, having worked with leading international and regional financial institutions.  Mrs. Rana was recognized by regional and global organizations for her leadership, and asset management skills. In 2019 she was awarded the Most Inspiring Woman of the Year by International Business Magazine. In 2018 she was chosen as one of The Middle East’s Most Influential Women by Forbes Magazine, and CEO of the year from Global Investors Group. She was also awarded “Outstanding Achievement by Individual” during MENA Fund Managers Performance Awards, and the Best Asset Management CEO 2018 award from International Finance Magazine. In addition to being awarded the Best Asset Manager and Best Fund Manager in Egypt 2018 from Global Business Outlook. In 2016, she was chosen as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in the economy in Egypt in a ceremony organized by one of Egypt’s top financial magazines under the auspices of the Prime Minister of Egypt. She is a member of the: Top 50 Committee that is taking an active role in the economic development of the country, American Chamber of Commerce, and British Egyptian Business Association- BEBA.

Eng. Mohamed AbdAlla Moaawd

Eng. Mohamed Abdalla pioneered institutionalizing the real estate brokerage sector in the country by establishing Egypt’s first premier real estate full service provider Coldwell Banker in 2001. This took place after an exceptional success in establishing and managing Egypt’s leading securities brokerage firm in the 1990s, InterCapital Securities, that is now a part of the largest investment bank in the region-EFG-Hermes. With over 23 years of experience in the equities and real estate sectors, Abdalla   is currently the Chairman of Coldwell Banker Egypt, and Coldwell Banker Intercontinental Affiliates that has the franchise of Coldwell Banker in 36 countries in the Middle East, North Africa and Eastern Europe. Coldwell Banker Egypt has 16 branches and employs over 340 real estate agents. The company earned several awards in international real estate conferences held in the USA over the last years

as the number one international master franchise.

In 2010, Abdalla co-founded Acumen Holding. The holding company has three main subsidiaries: Acumen Securities Brokerage, Acumen Asset Management and Acumen-BPE Realestate Fund Management. The firm is managing Egypt’s top performing balanced fund in 2014, “El Kheir”; Bank Audi’s Islamic fund “Izdehar”, the first fund to be launched in Egypt after the revolution; along with portfolios of public sector banks, public and private institutions, and high-net-worth individuals.

 Abdalla is an active member of AmCham Egypt. He co-founded and chaired the Realestate Committee since its inception in 2003, and has attended the AmCham Egypt Doorknock Missions to Washington D.C for the past 15 years.

Abdalla served as Board Member in Raya Holding from 2013 until 2015; and as Board Member in the Egyptian Railways Projects and Transport Company from 2005 until February 2010.

 

Mr. Nader Ekadawi

Mr. Ekdawi is a seasoned asset manager with over Eighteen years of expertise. Since the company's inception in 2010, he has been a part of Acumen. He was the Director of Investment Funds and Local Institutions Department at ACUMEN Asset Management before becoming the managing Director. He sits on the Investment Committee as well as the Committee for structuring New products. Mr. Ekdawi was the manager of the "Izdihar Fund," which has been named Egypt's best Islamic investment fund for three consecutive years. Before joining Acumen, Mr. Ekdawi worked for EFG-Hermes, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President and Director of the Stock and Derivatives Trading Department in the Asset Management division.

Eng. Ali is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Energia Industries Group in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, which operates in the fields of cables (Energia Cables - Jeddah Cables), iron (Energia Steel), cement (Nile Valley Cement), and education (Hayat International Academy). He graduated from Queen Mary University of England in 2015 with a major in Mechanical Engineering. He is also a member of the Hayat Urban Development Company Board of Directors and the Acumen Holding Company for Financial Investments Board of Directors.
