The Egyptian President, after a meeting with Maersk’s CEO, issued directives for the Egyptian government to begin cooperating with Maersk on a new mega-project. With investments of USD15bn, the project aims to produce green fuel in Egypt for ships and will result in the creation of over 100,000 jobs. The project also involves building an integrated national network for the production and transmission of green fuels that will be used by ships.
