Egyptian Hotels’ Occupancy Rate Restrictions Removed

The Egyptian government has completely removed hotel occupancy rate restrictions, allowing hotels to operate at full capacity going forward. The restrictions were implemented in March 2020 at the onset of the Covid pandemic to ensure social distancing and limit the spread of the virus. The recent decision will have a strong positive effect on tourism activity and all related sectors of the economy.
