According to the Automate Marketing Information Council’s (AMIC) most recent report, automobile sales grew by 48% YoY during 4M21 (the first four months of 2021). Passenger cars grew by 56% YoY, while truck sales grew by 60% YoY. On the other hand, bus sales declined by 9% YoY.

On a monthly basis, passenger car sales grew by 173% YoY in April 2021, boosted by a large base effect, as sales were very weak in April 2020 due to the onset of the COVID pandemic. Bus sales grew by 12% YoY and truck sales grew by 188%. (Source: AMIC, al-Maal)
