Net Foreign Exchange Reserves Flat In August 2021

The CBE (Central Bank of Egypt) announced that Egypt’s net foreign exchange reserves rose marginally by USD63mn during August 2021 to remain flat at USD40.7bn. Reserves are approaching the levels they were at before the Covid pandemic hit, which peaked at USD45.5 in February 2020.
