Trade Between Egypt & AU Soars By 36% YoY In 9M21 (1)

CAPMAS (The Center for Public Mobilization & Statistics) revealed that the value of trade between Egypt and the AU (African Union) shot up by 36% YoY during 9M21. Egypt’s exports to the AU registered USD3.9bn, an increase of 34% YoY, while imports were USD1.5bn, up 30%. The top countries that took in Egyptian exports were, in order of value imported, Libya, Sudan, Morocco, Algeria, and Kenya.
